We are happy to visit your classroom to share scholarship and program information. We can be program or subject specific, or provide general information on studying abroad, the process, and upcoming deadlines.
Faculty-Led Experiences
Any faculty member interested in teaching a course overseas should contact the Director of Education Abroad to schedule an initial meeting to discuss what a faculty-led experience entails as well as program planning and logistics, such as:
- Making your faculty-led program a reality
- Program develop guidelines
- More about the proposal process
- Learn about potential scholarships for students
- Learn how Extended Campus can assist with creating a budget and building a course in banner
Proposals for faculty-led programs must be submitted 8-12 months in advance. By completing the information requested in the links above, you are submitting a proposal for a faculty-led program whose development and administration is supported by the UNC Education Abroad and Extended Campus offices.
Once you have submitted the information requested to the Education Abroad Office, the proposal will be sent to the sponsoring department chair and sponsoring college dean to review and approve.
